So - it's Friday night and I am bored out of my mind. What's a girl to do? Shop! =) So - I click on my favorite place in the whole wide web - Etsy.com and find these sweet little pottery pieces featured on the front page.
I was supposed to be shopping for a baby gift for my sister-in-law...but was sidetracked by the little "delight" dish that would be the cutest little holder for my earrings, necklaces and lip glosses.

Custom "Gus" Bedding
Okay...I always write about products I love..but I *really* love this! =) The other day I was looking for some fun bedding for my son. At the end of my shopping trip I was annoyed because all I could find was the classic "fireman", "sports"...and "dinosaurs" comforter. Bo-RING!
I saw this site today and was almost giddy with excitement. You can turn your favorite picture into a duvet cover, pillowcase, and even a Photo Shower Curtain. I am LOVING the dog example from the photo above.
My son adores my puppy Gus, but we won't let them sleep together yet (due to a small "pee" issue). =)
I am going to make him a Gus pillow or duvet for his birthday. That way, they can sleep together...and I won't need to stock up on carpet cleaner.
I also love the idea of creating a Photo Shower Curtain. Wouldn't it be DAH-ling to let your kids draw some fishes...sea creatures and other fun things and create their own?

When I Grow Up….
I love these! My kids (who are 15 months apart) have been fighting a lot lately. "I'm bigger"...."no-I'm the biggest". Yesterday, I propped them up against the living room wall and made the little "knick" in the paint so they could see firsthand how tall they were.
As I looked at the small mark in the paint I decided my husband wouldn't be real happy if I did it again....AND, I wanted a memory of their growth.
I found these darling growth charts on Amazon. I am getting the first one for my daughter who is going to be a "princess with a cat" when she grows up and the second one for my son who wants to be a "fire squirter" aka fireman.
Even better...they are less than $10 bucks apiece!
